We believe the quality of the audio in your podcast is just as important as the quality of your content. In fact, if your podcast doesn’t sound good, it may not even matter about the quality of your content—no one will stick around to listen. Our goal is simple: make you sound great.

We take the raw audio files you provide for your podcast, and using the latest in professional editing software and audio plug-ins, we edit and “massage” it to make you sound as good as you can possibly sound. Our consulting services extend to getting your recording atmosphere set up properly, helping you find the right microphones and any other equipment you might need, to give us a running start at editing your podcast for great sound.

We can remove “ums” and “ahs” and other unnecessary crutch words to make your recordings sound more professional even if you’re not a professional speaker. Background noises can be minimized or sometimes removed entirely. Music can be mixed in for intros and outros, and interviews can be edited so participants can be heard equally well and aren’t speaking on top of each other. Annoying mouth clicks or breaths, plosives, and other noises can be removed or made to sound more natural so they don’t distract from your message.

All the pieces of your audio recordings—intros, outros, presentation, interviews, advertisements, etc.—are put together in a pleasing and logical order to help ensure your listeners have a pleasant experience when they listen to your podcast. Then they’re mixed down to a single MP3 file we return to you for uploading to your podcast host. (We can help you set that up, or even provide the uploading service, if you wish.)

Your Investment

We will provide you with a quote once we have an opportunity to discuss your needs. In general, editing charges are based on a “per episode” basis and are dependent on several things — the length of the episode and length of the raw files provided, the turn-around time for the finished episode, the frequency of episodes for the podcast, etc. Turn-around time for most episodes will be between 48-72 hours. A “New Client” price schedule is available when we are taking on new clients.

Consulting services are billed at hourly rates starting at $50/hour. Some consulting may be included at no charge if we are also regularly editing or will be editing your podcast episodes for a period of time.
